[Mando will get an odd private message from Bo-Katan today. It might have been better to text but texting one handed isn't exactly... efficient. So have a brief video of a very concerned looking Bo who is stopped on the side of Cycling Road.]
[Fortunately they wouldn’t have to find out as the revive seems to work. The Pokemon stirring with a whimper as it came to. Then growled as it heard Mando’s comment. Even Bo gives him a slightly annoyed look.]
Easy there, you’re all right.
[She speaks gently to the Pokemon as she also sprays a potion on the Pawmi.]
Smarts has nothing to do with it. Pokémon are just everywhere when these swarms happen, you know that. They need to find a way to keep them from getting onto cycling road. The fact that it’s dangerous is the whole reason they don’t let us ride Pokémon on it.
[Another sigh but Bo-Katan doesn’t move, though she’s looking towards the Jenny who is indeed riding up to her on a police bike.]
Is there a problem, officer?
[Bo-Katan remaining calm even as the Jenny speaks in the background. Announcing that she was writing her up for reckless driving and Pokémon endangerment.]
It was an accident.
[Annoyance edging her insistent tone. But that doesn’t stop the Jenny from handing her a ticket and ordering her to take the Pawmi to a Pokémon center before riding off, leaving Bo to just stare at the slip of paper.]
[Mando waits quietly as Bo deals with the Jenny. In the background, Spicy starts cackling--haha loser! you got caught by the cops!--but Mando quickly shushes her. He waits until the Jenny is gone to speak up again.]
I told you to make a break for it. You could've outridden her.
[What is this dorky rule-following, Bo-Katan? Do you actually trust the cops?]
[Mando has to bite back a surprisingly sharp retort: okay, Princess. It's one of those ways in which they're very, very different: Bo actually has faith that authority figures are there to help her, as opposed to hassle her, run her off, and generally make her life more difficult.]
[Its not that she had faith in them exactly… but she wasn’t afraid of them. Then again she wasn’t a bounty hunter doing questionable things either. Their perspectives are indeed very different.]
It seems I do.
[It was rather unexpected but this was her fault. She would take responsibility for it… and the stupid ticket. Sigh.
Gently putting the pokemon in her bag where her Eevee would normally be, Bo then takes the Pokegear and moves to get on her rental bike again.]
I’m a few days out from Fuschia. I’ll take it to the Pokemon center first thing. After that it’s the gym and then I’ll be coming back.
Video;
I ran over a Pokemon.
[That's it.]
Video;
[Mando is very concerned!]
Are you okay?

[She must be kneeling down because the camera is lower to the ground and it turns to show a little Pawmi who is just laying there.
Putting the gear down, it just now shows her face and sky as she fumbles with her bag.]
There must be another swarm going on. A bunch of them just ran out right in front of me.
no subject
[They could probably heal it, right? She didn't roadkill a Pokemon, did she?]
Or do you have a healing spray?
no subject
[Digging through the bag she starts to pull some items out. If the Pokemon was dead she wouldn’t be bothering with this.]
I’ve got revives, potions and herbs. Let’s try a revive.
[She then goes about putting one of those diamond shaped tablets in the Pawmi’s mouth.]
no subject
[Is it even possible to kill a Pokemon? Mando has no idea.]
It must not be a very smart type, if it ran right in front of your bike.

At least you didn't hit it with your Cyclizar.
[That little guy would've gotten squashed flat.]
What kind is it?
no subject
If I had been riding Balutar this wouldn’t have happened in the first place.
[Bo has that much confidence in her Cyclizar that she’s sure he would have been able to avoid the Pokemon more easily.]
That’s a good question. Hold on.
[Picking up her gear again it just shows her face as she uses the device’s pokedex to scan the creature.]
It’s a Pawmi apparently, an electric type.
[She’s about to say something else but then there’s the telltale bee-woo of a siren. She looks up and sighs heavily.]
You’ve got to be kidding me.
no subject
[Mando's head perks up when he hears the sirens.]
It's the Jennies. Quick, grab the Pokemon and get back on your bike. If you start now, you can probably outrun them.
[Mando is unfamiliar with the idea of not running from the cops.]

[A pointed look is given to him. And she heard you too Spicy!]
Come here, ad’ika.
[She picks up the little Pawmi who clings to her.]
Besides, this little one is hurt and rushing away on a bike isn’t going to help it.
no subject
Looks like you've got a new Pokemon, then.
no subject
It seems I do.

Drive slow out there, or you're going to end up with a bunch more electric mice things.
no subject
[The popularity of Pikachu has not been lost on her.]
I'll talk to you later. And... don't mention any of this to anyone.
no subject
[Don't worry, he'll keep your secrets. Although...]
You should name the little guy Skidmark.
no subject
Din Djarin, that's not funny.
no subject
[It’s hilarious, and Mando waves at the little Pawnmi in her arms.]
Bye, Skidmark Kryze. See you later. Don’t let Bo hit any of your buddies.
no subject
Goodbye, Din.
[And with that she hangs up.]
